AIG

  • 7 More Reasons to Sell QoL Value+ Protector!. Based upon distributor feedback and in order to improve our competitive position, our death-benefit-focused Index Universal Life (IUL) insurance product QoL Value+ Protector, is now available with significant updates. In addition to aligning to the 2017 CSO*, we have made the following enhancements (itemizations for the below available on page 2): Extended Death Benefit Guarantee, Increased Target Premiums, Higher Cap and Max Illustrated Rates, Improved Competitiveness, Expanded Cash Value Potential, NEW Global Index Interest Crediting Option, NEW Dollar Cost Averaging (DCA) Rider.
  • New Dollar Cost Averaging (DCA) Rider for IUL. Beginning December 14, 2018, the DCA rider option will be included, at no additional cost to clients, on any new QoL Max Accumulator+ and QoL Value+ Protector policies.* Please note, the DCA rider will not be available on inforce policies. Any client, particularly those who are more risk averse, might find the enhanced sense of stability from this rider desirable when considering index universal life insurance (IUL).
  • Important Information for Insureds Living in Illinois. In response to challenges created for Illinois residents by recent significant storms, we are working with state regulators to support affected clients. A temporary suspension is in effect on lapses, terminations, cancellations and other time-sensitive provision requirements of the insurance policies or annuity contracts for insured AGL customers residing in Christian County, which has been declared a state disaster area. This action is taken to protect the policyholders from unintentional termination. We will process other requests to help them in as timely a manner as possible. The temporary suspension applies from November 23, 2018, through January 23, 2019.

  • Retention Limit Increase. American National has dramatically increased retention limits, allowing up to $5,000,000 per life to be kept with American National, rather than being ceded to a reinsurer. This change will result in speedier and more consistent underwriting decisions for individuals with larger policies, or several policies already inforce with American National.
