Allianz

  • 2022 Year End Deadlines. To ensure the contract is issued by close of business for 2022: Life insurance new business final delivery requirements must be received in good order before Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at 3 p.m. Central time. Fixed index annuity new business applications and final requirements must be received in good order before Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at 3 p.m. Central time. Variable annuity new business applications and final requirements must be received in good order before Friday, December 30, 2022 at 3 p.m. Central time. If any request is intended to be recorded for the 2023 tax year, please submit the request after January 1, 2023. Please note that scheduled premium payments processed in January are recorded for the 2023 tax year.
  • New Underwriting Risk-Class Upgrade Program. Allianz's first-ever Risk-Class Upgrade Underwriting Program is now available. This program applies to Allianz Life Pro+ Advantage issues policies that meet eligibility requirements including Premium Finance and Foreign Nationals business. To be eligible for the risk-class upgrade, your client’s base death benefit must be a minimum of $500,000 permanent coverage. Not eligible for upgraded risk class: Flat Extra Cases, Juvenile, Preferred Tobacco, Rated Cases, and Table 2 cases that will receive Standard. See link for more details.

Legal & General America

  • 2022 Year-End Deadlines. December 30, 2022 will be the last day for 2022 business and the standard service times for processing documents received that day will apply. New business requirements need to be received and processed by Friday, December 30 to be included in 2022 Miscellaneous Income Tax Reporting (1099-MISC). Please see link above for more dates & details.
  • Now available: Save Age feature for digital applications. This option allows you to backdate life insurance policies by as much as six months from the date the application is signed in order to offer insurance based on the nearest age of your client. It locks in the price of the policy at a younger age by paying extra upfront with the first premium. By taking advantage of this feature and using a younger insurance age, your clients will pay extra premium up front resulting in considerable overall savings over the life of their policies. The policy must be accepted and the initial premium paid before the end of the validity period in order to take advantage of this enhancement. If the policy is not activated before this validity period expires, the Save Age feature will no longer be available and the policy premium will be subject to change.

Lincoln

  • Limited Time Only – Couples Discount Expanded to All Lincoln MoneyGuard® Products. Special Underwriting Program lowers rates and increases value through Dec. 30. Lincoln is excited to announce that effective Oct. 24, 2022, all eligible standard Lincoln MoneyGuard® cases will now receive the Couples Discount underwriting class, regardless of marital status, until Dec. 30, 2022. Lincoln MoneyGuard is a life insurance solution with long-term care rider(s), and this enhanced underwriting program improves pricing up to 17% and increases value, supporting our commitment to helping our partners grow their business and reach new customers.
  • Year-end 2022 business cut-off dates. All fixed, fixed indexed and income annuities: December 21, 2022. This cut-off date applies to all applications; however, for "Applications without money," this date is for rate locks only. Standard rate lock procedures apply. This date does not pertain to Lincoln production credit or the issue date. Withdrawals, internal transfers, surrenders, loans, one-time RMDs: December 23, 2022. Automatic Withdrawal Service (AWS) for RMDs: December 2, 2022.
  • Year-End Guidelines. December 8: Suggested final date to submit all applications and tickets requesting a Tele-App or Phone PHI. The completion of the interview is contingent on your client’s scheduling availability. As a reminder, the online interview (eInterview) is flexible and can be completed at any time. December 15: Suggested final date to submit all full applications and tickets requesting an online interview. December 22: All placement-restrictive requirements, including premium, must be received at Lincoln in-good-order to be guaranteed for placement by December 30, 2022. December 23: 2022 compensation income placement deadline. All business placed in-force with premium by December 23, 2022 will be considered as 2022 income. Any business placed after this date, through December 30, 2022, will count as 2022 production but will be treated as 2023 earnings.

  • 2022 Year-End Deadlines. Our final commission close is Dec. 20 to pay in 2022. We will continue to work diligently through year end on Dec. 30, 2022 to handle requirements as they are received. See link for more dates & details.

OneAmerica

  • Immediate Change to Medical Requirements for Full Underwriting. Due to a laboratory test kit being discontinued, ExamOne now requires a blood specimen to complete the panel of tests full underwriting requires. Effective immediately, blood specimens will be required on those adults ages 35 and up for face amounts $0-99,999, on products issued and underwritten by State Life. This change will not impact Underwriting’s processing time and only applies to full underwriting. This does not affect Expedited Underwriting.

Pacific Life

  • 2022 Year-End Deadlines. December 22, 2022: Last day to receive critical requirements for 2022 income: Initial premium and all delivery requirements, in good order, must be received to fund the policy regardless of funding source. December 29, 2022: Last day to receive critical requirements for 2022 production credit. Principal

  • 2022 Year-End Deadlines. To help guarantee your life and individual disability business is processed and paid in 2022, we need all final underwriting and administrative requirements for policy approval and issuance (including premium) by December 9, and all delivery requirements for new business, adjustments, and reinstatements by December 28. While we won’t be able to guarantee processing after these dates, we’ll continue to process year-end business through December 30. See link above for more dates & details.
  • Relaxing some COVID-19 restrictions. Effective immediately, we’re easing up on one prior restriction, while leaving others in place. What’s changing: New guidelines for ages 66-80: Maximum Table 4 rating or maximum Flat Extra of $10/million. Table + Flat Extra is allowed if Flat Extra is for non-medical reason. What isn’t changing: Guidelines for ages 65 or less: Maximum Table 6 rating for term products, maximum Table 10 for permanent products. Medical Flat Extras are allowed on top of table ratings. Guidelines for ages 80+: No offer.

Final new business issue requirements for both daily and weekly commission schedules should be received at Symetra by Friday, Dec. 16. Business will be processed and placed through Friday, Dec. 30.
